Every book in the Book Taco Library comes with up to five Reader Rewards badges you can earn by exploring everything the book has to offer — reading, watching, listening, and more. Here's what each badge is and how to unlock it.
Story Finisher
How to earn it: Read the entire book all the way to the last page.
This is the first badge most readers unlock. Keep reading until you reach the end and the Story Finisher badge will appear automatically — look out for the badge reveal animation when it unlocks!
Quiz Champion
How to earn it: Complete the book quiz.
After reading, go back to the book detail screen and click Quiz. Answer the multiple-choice questions about the story to earn this badge. The quiz button becomes active once the quiz is available for your book.
Word Explorer
How to earn it: Tap every Vocabulary Spotlight word in the book.
As you read, you'll notice highlighted words throughout the story — those are your Vocabulary Spotlight words. Tap each one to explore its meaning. Once you've tapped all of them, the Word Explorer badge is yours.
You can check which Vocabulary Spotlight words belong to a book on its detail screen before you start reading.
Video Explorer
How to earn it: Open a video inside the book.
Some books include embedded videos right on the page. When you come across one, tap it to open it and the Video Explorer badge will unlock. Not all books have videos — if this badge appears locked, the book may not include one.
Audio Explorer
How to earn it: Listen to at least half of the book's song.
Some books include a song experience on one of their pages. Press play and listen to at least half of it to earn the Audio Explorer badge. Like videos, not every book includes a song — if the badge is locked, this book may not have one.
Where to Find Your Badges
Click on any book cover to open its detail screen. Your earned badges appear highlighted, and any badges you haven't unlocked yet are shown locked. Tap a locked badge to see exactly what you need to do to earn it.
Each book has its own set of badges, so the more books you read, the more you can collect. Can you earn all five on every book in your library?
