A: Archiving a book moves it out of the main library view and into the Archived tab. No data is deleted and the book's activities remain accessible.
Archiving is useful for keeping the library tidy — finished or temporarily set-aside books can be moved out of the way without losing any reading history or quiz progress.
How to archive a book
- Go to Manage Books.
- Hover over a book card to reveal the checkbox in the corner, then check it. You can select multiple books at once.
- A floating Archive Selected Books button appears at the bottom of the page. Click it to confirm.
What changes after archiving
- The book no longer appears in the Recent Books, Completed, or In Progress tabs.
- It moves to the Archived tab, where it remains fully accessible — the Start Activities button is still available on the book card.
What stays the same
- All activities, quiz attempts, and reading progress are preserved exactly as they were.
How to unarchive a book
- Click the Archived tab in Manage Books.
- Check the book you want to restore, then click the floating Unarchive Selected Books button.
- The book returns to the regular library view.
Books in Teacher Lists or Super User Lists cannot be archived. When browsing a Teacher List or Super User List, the archive checkbox is not shown. Archiving is only available in the standard library filters (Recent Books, Completed, In Progress, Archived).
