Q: What Happens When I Unlink a Teacher in Book Taco?

A: Unlinking removes the connection between your Super User account and the teacher, but does not delete the teacher's account or their students.

The teacher's profile, class roster, and all activity data remain fully intact. They simply return to operating as an independent Book Taco teacher.

What changes immediately 

• The teacher is removed from your Manage Teachers list.
• Any pending invitations you had sent to that teacher are cancelled.
• The teacher's students no longer count against your purchased seat total.
• If you had Block Customization enabled, the teacher regains access to their own Customize Program settings immediately.
• The teacher's program settings revert to their own Customize Program configuration — your global settings no longer apply to their students.

What stays the same 

• The teacher's account, login credentials, and subscription are not affected.
• All students remain in the teacher's class with their reading history, quiz results, and activity data intact.

Can I re-link the teacher later? 

Yes. You can search for the teacher by email in Manage Teachers and link or invite them again at any time.
