A: A Super User has full administrative control over teachers, students, and program settings. A Super Viewer has read-only access to reports and data — they can see everything but cannot make any changes.
Super Viewers are created and managed by a Super User. When they log in, they see the data from the Super User account they are linked to, identified in the header as Read-Only.
What a Super User can do
- Add, edit, and unlink teachers — and log in as any linked teacher
- Add, edit, delete, and move students across classrooms
- Manage purchased seats and subscription
- Configure Customize Program settings and lock them for all linked teachers
- Manage Shelf Control, Contests, Grades, Manage Books, and Printables
- View all reports
- Create and manage Super Viewers
- Add Resource Teachers
What a Super Viewer can do
- View the teacher list and student roster
- View all reports and analytics
- Update their own account details
Super Viewers cannot add, edit, or delete any data. All administrative actions are disabled for this role.
Who should get each role
- Use Super User for administrators who need to manage teachers, students, and program configuration.
- Use Super Viewer for principals, coordinators, or district staff who need to monitor progress and review reports without the ability to change anything.
Creating a Super Viewer: Super Viewers are added from the Super User dashboard under Super Viewers in the sidebar. You can have multiple Super Viewers per Super User account, and each can be enabled or disabled at any time.
