If a student has forgotten their password or cannot log in, you can reset it directly from your Book Taco teacher dashboard without contacting support. The change takes effect immediately.

Step 1: Go to Students

  • In the left sidebar, click Students. Your class roster loads as a table with all enrolled students.

Step 2: Open the student's edit form

  • Find the student in the list and click the Edit button in their row. The student profile form opens.

Step 3: Enter a new password

  • Scroll to the Access information section. The Password field shows the student's current password pre-filled.
  • Clear the field and type the new password. Requirements:
    • Minimum 3 characters.
    • A strength indicator bar below the field updates as you type.
    • Click the eye icon to show or hide the characters.

Step 4: Save the changes

  • Click the green Save button at the bottom of the form. The student can now log in with the new password.
Leaving the field unchanged: The password field is not required when editing. If you save the form without changing it, the student's existing password is kept as-is.
