How to Edit or Delete a Student's Reading Log

Reading log entries are managed through the Manage Grades page. You can edit the time and page count of any session, or delete entries individually or in bulk.

Step 1: Go to Manage Grades

Click Manage Grades in the sidebar to open the grade management page.

Step 2: Filter by Reading Session

In the Module dropdown, select Reading Session. You can also type a student name or book title in the search field to narrow the results. Click Filter to load the matching entries.

Step 3: Edit a Session

Find the session you want to update. Click the Action dropdown at the end of the row and select Edit session.

A dialog will open showing the book title and two editable fields:

  • Number of pages read — optional
  • Total time on reading session — required, in HH:mm:ss format (for example: 01:30:00)

Click Save to apply the changes.

Step 4: Delete a Session

Click the Action dropdown next to the session and select Delete grade. A confirmation dialog will appear. Click Delete to confirm.

Deleting Multiple Sessions at Once 

To delete several sessions at the same time, check the box at the start of each row you want to remove. A Delete Selected button will appear at the top of the table. Click it and confirm to delete all selected entries in one action.
