Book Taco Library is a curated collection of 1,000+ books organized by three reading levels. Here's how to activate it so your students can access these books.

Step 1: Open Book Taco Library from your dashboard

Log in to your Teacher Panel. On the dashboard, you'll see a Book Taco Library widget card. If Library is not yet activated, the ribbon will say "Preview". Click the card to open the Library catalog.

Step 2: Try the free 14-day trial or purchase

When you open the Library catalog without an active subscription, you'll see one of two options:

  • Try the 14-day free trial — click Start Library trial and you'll have instant access to browse, preview, and add books for 14 days. No payment required upfront.
  • Purchase Library — after the trial ends, go to your Membership page and add Book Taco Library ($1.50 per student) to your account.

Library covers all your current students — there's no per-student activation. Once Library is active, every enrolled student can access the books you add.

Step 3: Start adding books for your students

Once your trial or subscription is active, the dashboard ribbon will change to "Open". You can now:

  • Browse the Library catalog and preview books
  • Filter books by reading level (Level 1, 2, or 3)
  • Create custom curated lists from Library books

Your students will see Library books appear in their Manage Books page with a "READ NOW!" banner, making it easy to identify curated Library titles.

If your account is linked to a Super User, Library may already be active at your school. In that case, you can skip activation and start adding books immediately.
