Created by Ace Turner, Modified on Tue, 12 May at 10:40 AM by Ace Turner

The Top 100 Books list shows the most popular titles selected by teachers and students across Book Taco. You can filter by reading level or source and add books directly to a book list from the same view.

Step 1: Open Top 100 Books

Click Top 100 Books in the sidebar. This opens the Manage Books page with the Top 100 tab already selected.

You can also reach it by going to Manage Books and clicking the Top 100 tab at the top of the page.

Step 2: Filter by Reading Level

Use the reading level pills to narrow the list to books appropriate for your class:

  • ❄️ Cool (BT levels 1–2) — for early readers
  • ✨ Spark (BT levels 3–5) — for readers building curiosity
  • ? Fire (BT levels 6–8+) — for readers ready for bigger challenges

Step 3: Filter by Source

You can also filter by how a book earned its spot on the list:

  • Student Picks — books most frequently selected by students
  • Teacher Picks — books most frequently selected by teachers
  • New Releases — books published in the last three years

Step 4: Add Books to a List

At the top of the Top 100 tab, select the book list you want to add titles to. If you don't have a list yet, click New list to create one.

Browse the results and add any book directly to the selected list. Your students will see the list the next time they open their library.

Students also have their own Top 100 page in the student panel where they can browse popular books and navigate to their library to add them.
