A: Your school's Super User has enabled the Block program customization by teachers option. When this setting is active, all program configurations — quizzes, vocabulary modules, writing prompts, graphic organizers, IP restrictions, and privacy — are managed at the school level. Individual teachers can no longer make changes to these settings.
Which settings are affected?
A: All tabs inside Customize Program are controlled by your Super User, including:
- Settings — quiz program type, passing grade, allowed days and tries, Book Goal, Book Nacho, Pookie's House, and Pookie's Play Time limits.
- Word Lists — which vocabulary and spelling modules are available to students.
- Writing Prompt — whether the Writing Prompt feature is enabled.
- Graphic Organizers — which organizer modules students can access.
- IP Block — whether quizzes are restricted to school IP addresses.
- Privacy — whether student full names are shown or hidden.
What should I do if I need a setting changed?
A: Contact your school's Super User and let them know which setting you'd like adjusted. Only the Super User can update these configurations while the block is in place.
Is this permanent?
A: No. The Super User can disable the block at any time, which will restore your ability to manage your own Customize Program settings independently.
