The Quiz Override Pin is a 4-character code that allows you to grant any student in your linked classrooms permission to retake a quiz. As a Super User, your override pin works across all teachers and classrooms in your account.

How to set your Quiz Override Pin

  • From your Super User Dashboard, click My Account in the left sidebar.
  • Scroll to the Quiz Override Pin field. It requires exactly 4 characters (letters and numbers).
  • Enter a 4-character PIN that you'll remember. For example: ABC1 or 2024.
  • Click Save to apply the PIN.
  • Share this PIN with teachers who need it so they can give students permission to retake quizzes.

How students use the pin

  • When a student wants to retake a quiz, they receive the override PIN from their teacher.
  • The student enters the PIN when prompted, and it grants them permission to attempt the quiz again.
  • The PIN works across all classrooms in your Super User account.

Important notes

Note: The Pin must be exactly 4 characters. You can use letters (A–Z, a–z) and numbers (0–9).
Note: Teachers in your account also have their own quiz override pins. Your Super User pin is school-wide and works for any student across all linked classrooms. Teachers' pins only work for their own students.
Tip: If you forget your PIN, come back to this page and enter a new one. There's no recovery process — just set a new PIN and save.
