A Super Viewer is a read-only account you can create for a principal, district administrator, or any observer who needs to see your reports without being able to make any changes. The setup takes only a few seconds — Book Taco sends the invitation automatically.
Step 1: Open Super Viewers
Go to Super User Panel → Super Viewers and click Add new super viewer.
Step 2: Fill in the details
The form has three fields:
- First Name and Last Name (required).
- E-mail (required) — the invitation will be sent to this address. The Super Viewer will create their own password through the link in the email. The email address cannot be changed after the account is created.
Step 3: Save and send the invitation
Click Save. Book Taco automatically sends an invitation email to the address you provided. The Super Viewer clicks the link in that email to set their password and confirm their account — no further action is needed from you.
Super Viewers have read-only access to the same reports you see as a Super User. They cannot edit students, teachers, contests, or any program settings.
Step 4: Track the invitation status
Back on the Super Viewers list, each account shows a status badge:
- Pending — the invitation has been sent but the Super Viewer has not yet confirmed their account by clicking the link.
- Confirmed — the Super Viewer has accepted the invitation and can log in.
- Disabled — the account has been deactivated. The Super Viewer cannot log in until it is re-enabled.
If the Super Viewer did not receive the invitation or the link expired, click the envelope icon next to their name to resend it. This option is only visible while the account is still in Pending status.
You can enable or disable a Super Viewer account at any time using the toggle button on the list, without deleting the account.
